Measure 100 will be on the ballot in November. If approved by voters, it will make it illegal under state law to trade in the parts of any of 12 specific endangered animals, including elephants, rhinos, sharks, rays and big cats. The measure would help stop poaching by helping to take away the market for the parts of these animals. Humane Oregon is part of a coalition of groups supporting this measure.
