While voting is the one action we can take to ensure the Oregon Legislature is made up of animal-friendly lawmakers, there is so much more to do to ensure that the next legislative session is a successful one for animals!
Volunteer for a campaign of an endorsed Humane Voters Oregon candidate! Campaigns need volunteers to cross the finish line successfully. Phone banking, door knocking, literature distribution, hosting a candidate get-together, distributing lawn signs – all are essential tasks to help a candidate win on Election Day. Often time, the greatest gift animal welfare advocates can offer our animal welfare legislative champions is the gift of volunteer time.
