Thank you for all of your support in 2025! You helped us back animal-friendly candidates for public office and advocate for animal welfare before state and local policy makers.
Support our efforts in 2026 by making a year-end donation. Your contribution will help us continue to advocate for animals and back candidates who have demonstrated a strong commitment to enhancing animal welfare.
Your contribution to Humane Voters Oregon PAC is also eligible for Oregon's political contribution tax credit, allowing you to receive a full refund on your state taxes up to $50 for an individual return and $100 for a joint return.*
With your support in 2025, we:
Advocated for animals in the Oregon Legislature. Our work included supporting bills to limit hunting and trapping of beavers, to prohibit betting on dog race, and to make it easier for wildlife to cross highways. We opposed bills to resume cougar hunting with dogs and to raise money for using cruel methods to kill wildlife deemed a threat to private property. Published our 2025 legislative scorecard to show which Oregon legislators were the best (and worst) for animals in 2025, along with cumulative ratings of legislators who also served in prior sessions. See all our legislative scorecards here.

Continued our work as a supporting member of the Stand Up to Factory Farms coalition by opposing new and expanded large dairy confined animal feeding operations in Oregon.
Help us replenish our funds for 2026. Besides our regular activities, 2026 is an election year. Your donations to Humane Voters Oregon PAC will allow us to back good candidates in the name of animal welfare, which will help make animal welfare a higher priority in state and local policy making.

Humane Voters Oregon champions animal rights within Oregon's political process and elections. You can help us by donating to one or both of our funds. Contributions to our political action committee, Humane Voters Oregon PAC, allow us to back political candidates who prioritize animal welfare. Alternatively, you can donate to our general account, Humane Voters Oregon, to support our overall operations and advocacy efforts.
Contributions to Humane Voters Oregon PAC qualify for Oregon's political contribution tax credit. You can give up to $50 this year ($100 for a couple filing jointly) and get the full amount deducted from your state taxes when you complete your tax return next year. It won't cost you anything and it will help make animal welfare a more important issue in Oregon's political process and elections.*
*Note: Oregon's political contribution tax credit is not available to people with an adjusted gross income of more than $75,000 ($150,000 for couples filing jointly).
